Myriam's Dream recently held a Special meeting of the Board of Directors in New York City and dispersed additional grants to our Israel project sites in the amount of $80,000 as a tangible expression of our support for their superlative efforts for elderly and youth.

A Jerusalem program at Shaare Zedek Hospital called YITAV 109 was awarded a new grant from MYRIAM'S DREAM for the immense daily volunteer work organized to aid the elderly homebound. The grant money will be used to cover costs of equipment that is shared with the intergeneration program. . . for payment of telephone bills, travel to and from homebound elders, repair in homes of the elderly, car and volunteer insurance.
